SAFP joins the SFL campaign “NO TO RACISM”
Unfortunately, incidents of racism also occur time and again in connection with football matches. The players’ association strongly condemns such attacks on the dignity and personality of players. For years, SAFP and its members have been campaigning against racism and for a form of coexistence free of discrimination and exclusion on the grounds of origin, skin colour, religion or sexual orientation within the framework of its own SHOW RESPECT campaign. Respect is the central concern for a free diversity of living together.
What change do we want to see?
- We demand a zero tolerance policy towards incidents of racism.
- We demand consistent prosecution of the offending persons with the existing legal and association-internal regularian. Both stadium bans and criminal prosecution must be pursued consistently.
- In the case of multiple, serious and clear offences against the dignity of the players, it should also be possible to abandon the match.
- Then, prevention should be given greater priority.
SAFP supports players and takes a stand against racism.

SAFP schliesst sich der SFL Kampagne «NO TO RACISM» an.
Leider kommt es auch im Zusammenhang mit Fussballspielen immer wieder zu Rassismus-Vorfällen. Die Spielervereinigung verurteilt solche Angriffe auf die Würde und Persönlichkeit der Spieler auf Schärfste. Seit Jahren setzt sich SAFP zusammen mit seinen Mitgliedern im Rahmen der eigenen SHOW RESPECT Kampagne gegen Rassimus und für eine Form des Zusammenlebens frei von Diskriminierung, Ausgrenzung wegen Herkunft, Hautfarbe, Religion oder sexueller Orientierung ein. Respekt ist das zentrale Anliegen für eine freie Vielfalt des Zusammenlebens.
Welche Veränderung wollen wir sehen?
- Wir fordern eine Null-Toleranz-Strategie gegenüber Vorfällen im Bereich Rassismus.
- Wir fordern eine konsequente Verfolgung der fehlbaren Personen mit den vorhandenen gesetzlichen und verbandsinternen Regularian. Es sind Stadionverbote wie auch die strafrechtliche Verfolgung konsequent anzustreben.
- Bei mehrfachen, gravierenden und klaren Verstössen gegen die Würde der Spieler soll das Spiel auch abgebrochen werden können.
- Sodann ist der Prävention ein grösserer Stellenwert einzuräumen.
SAFP unterstützt Spieler und bezieht Stellung gegen Rassismus.

La SAFP se joint à la campagne de la SFL “NO TO RACISM”
Malheureusement, des incidents racistes se produisent aussi régulièrement à l’occasion de matchs de football. L’association des joueurs condamne fermement de telles attaques contre la dignité et la personnalité des joueurs. Depuis des années, la SAFP et ses membres font campagne contre le racisme et pour une forme de coexistence sans discrimination ni exclusion fondée sur l’origine, la couleur de la peau, la religion ou l’orientation sexuelle, dans le cadre de sa propre campagne SHOW RESPECT. Le respect est la préoccupation centrale d’une libre diversité de la vie en commun.
Quel changement voulons-nous voir ?
- Nous exigeons une politique de tolérance zéro à l’égard des incidents racistes.
- Nous demandons que les personnes incriminées soient poursuivies de manière cohérente avec le règlement juridique et associatif interne existant. Les interdictions de stade et les poursuites pénales doivent être appliquées de manière cohérente.
- En cas d’infractions multiples, graves et manifestes à la dignité des joueurs, il devrait également être possible d’abandonner le match.
- Il faut alors accorder une plus grande priorité à la prévention.
La SAFP soutient les joueurs et prend position contre le racisme.

SAFP si unisce alla campagna SFL “NO TO RACISM”.
Purtroppo, gli incidenti di razzismo si verificano di tanto in tanto anche in relazione alle partite di calcio. L’associazione dei giocatori condanna fermamente questi attacchi alla dignità e alla personalità dei giocatori. Da anni la SAFP e i suoi membri si battono contro il razzismo e per una forma di convivenza libera da discriminazioni ed esclusioni per motivi di origine, colore della pelle, religione o orientamento sessuale nel quadro della propria campagna SHOW RESPECT. Il rispetto è la preoccupazione centrale per una libera diversità di convivenza.
Quale cambiamento vogliamo vedere?
- Esigiamo una politica di tolleranza zero verso gli episodi di razzismo.
- Chiediamo di perseguire coerentemente le persone colpevoli con il regolatore legale e associativo esistente. Sia i divieti di accesso agli stadi che i procedimenti penali devono essere perseguiti con coerenza.
- In caso di infrazioni multiple, gravi e chiare contro la dignità dei giocatori, il gioco dovrebbe anche poter essere abbandonato.
- Allora, la prevenzione dovrebbe avere una priorità maggiore.
La SAFP sostiene i giocatori e prende posizione contro il razzismo.
